Single Ply Over Metal 

Single Ply roof systems can be installed over existing metal roofs economically and are non invasive to the existing business. Typically a layer of EPS insulation (expanded polystyrene) is loose laid between the ribs of the existing roof panel then a layer of ISO board insulation is installed over the top to provide a smooth surface. The ISO is then mechanically attached to the structure below. After that the new TPO membrane is either mechanically attached to the structure or can be adhered. There is also a method that utilizes heat induction welding called Rhinobond that can provide superior uplift as well as faster installation.
